It's time for Robo-Cap!

*Quick Note: Press Left Mouse button in the game screen to ensure keys work*

Goal: Avoid the red spheres and have atleast 1 Robo-Arm when the timer runs out

Tank-Controls: WASD

Left Mouse Button to switch between Defensive form and Mobility form

Tips*:

Recover blue pickups to regain arms
Avoid the Red spheres
Defensive/Mobility form: Defensive form slows you down but you take less damage, this will still cause you to eventually lose arms
*

In the trend of the theme: Stuff might break, and I don't just mean the robotic arms

My goal for this jam was to actually finish something and see where my weak points lie when put under time-constraint.

One very clear point is optimization which sprouted from already beginning on a bigger scope than was initially possible for me alone. This also caused me to compromise on the overall aesthetic of the game, being clear on what means what visually without this text and ofcourse balancing. (I would have liked a good balance between choosing Defensive form over Mobility form

The procedural animation part of Robo-Cap took me the longest, even though in this game it's hard to see what they accomplish when you hold W, since most of the animation happens when switching Forward to Backward. Although I did learn a lot about working with animation curves!

The Music I made a few years ago but never found a use for, so why not here :-)

It runs on my phone so I assumed it would run on any pc from 2015+. Still, would like to hear if it's playable or not.
